Both the lowest point and the highest point in Europe is in Russia. The lowest point is the Caspian Sea level (β28 m) and the highest point is (5,642 m). The largest mountain ranges in Russia are the Ural Mountains and the Altay Mountains Russia has many rivers and lakes. Europe’s two largest lakes are both in Russia. These lakes are called Lake Ladoga and Lake Onega. Important rivers in Russia include the Amur, Irtysh, Yenisey, Ob, Volga, and Lena.
