2Q15 VenturePitch SWFL brought in a crowd of more than 100 guests to watch local entrepreneurs compete for the title of most investable at the Arcade Theatre in downtown Fort Myers during the May 21 event. The group of high potential, accelerated-growth companies presented their business ideas “shark tank” style to a panel of judges and audience members.

All of the business concepts were compelling, but it was Dino Lingo who won over both the judges and the audience. The business concept was presented with the title of “Most Investable” and was also recognized with the People’s Choice award, gaining the most votes for “best pitch” from the crowd.

Serdar Acar is the entrepreneur behind the Dino Lingo business idea that offers more than 40 different interactive language learning courses for children. The program incorporates play and storytelling into a number of immersive teaching techniques. In the past three years, over 10,000 Dino Lingo programs have been sold. Products are sold locally and internationally.
